Makeup Application – Go down

When we use the makeup, there is a very common term that we come across – Apply makeup in downward direction….

Now the question is Why we should go downward direction and not upward? A very common doubt that struck is – when we apply our night crème or any anti ageing crème, we are asked to go upward, so that we can arrest the wrinkles of our skin, but this is not the same while we apply the makeup…but why?

Well the general tendency of our facial pores, zits, and hairs are to go down. This is mainly because of the gravitation pull I guess – though I may sound funny... But this is true. 

So, if you apply your makeup in an upward direction, however effort you put on, you can never get the natural flawless look. It can only be gout if you apply the makeup in a downward direction.

However whenever you apply makeup, try to use a mineral makeup, as even if you brush it down, it will not make your skin go down and get you a old look in 20’s.
